berlin: marc brandenburg

opening on wed - nov 3 [8pm] at cult magazine 032c's berlin workshop is an exhibition dedicated to the work of multimedia artist marc brandenburg. brandenburg is best known for his graphite-on-paper drawings that adopt the look of photo negatives. interested in scenes of power and excess, his work is made from original and found photographs, and depicts both crowds at soccer games and political protests, as well as celebrities and consumer objects borrowed from the mass media. coinciding with the show is the magazine's next edition of société de 032c, and this time in honour of snapper georg rulffes. location: brunnenstrasse 9 [mitte]. © 032c / marc brandenburg - untitled [yves saint laurent] [2007]
