beirut loves is a pop-up store that aims to bring cool, interesting and last but not least fabulous designs from an inspiring foreign city to savvy beirutis. launched last year by fashion + textile designer nur kaoukji and photographer + art director nour sabbagh chahal, the inaugural edition was dedicated to goodies from the ancient indian city of jaipur. but the upcoming edition, cleverly timed while beirut design week is in full swing, opens fri - jun 29 [4pm] and entices shoppers for 15 days with carefully sourced goods that exude the essence of paris. so what's in store? actualy, quite a lot. from perfumes, bags and lingerie to fashion, jewellery, china and even a few delicacies. presented designers and brands include julien devaux, poilâne, non sans raison, bartsch and twin truc. beirut loves will also be introducing a special range of products that it has designed and produced, all inspired by the french capital, and there's a showcase of its very own socially responsible fashion brand noon has a new collection inspired by the roaring 1920s. a handful fun events run parallel to the showcase and include a collab exhibition with the running horse gallery, and featuring works by jonathan bréchignac, éric singelin, frédéric arditi, jean-baptiste marot and hala salem achillas, film screenings by fatcat films and cooking lessons with culinary expert apollonia poilâne. location: sabbag building, rue patriarche hoayek [central beirut].
