antec have come out with a nifty new bluetooth speaker called the sp1 which we've been blasting around the office for the past few days. there are quite a few of these little critters on the market lately, but the sp1 measuring a mere 15 x 6 inch, fits into just about any designer briefcase and pairs up wirelessly to all types of portable music devices [we hooked ours up to the iphone 5]. you can also simply plug it in using the microscopic stereo cable that comes in the box. despite being the tiniest boombox on the planet, the sp1 delivers quite a racket. one of the key features that we liked is the built in microphone that lets you answer or make calls mid tune jamming - gives the whole concept of speakerphone a much more audible meaning [just don't call your mom on it]. the unit comes in a multitude of colors and its sleek, rubber coated design puts it in perfect harmony with any urban interior, or exterior for that matter. with the sp1 in hand, the party becomes more portable than ever and turned our office into a veritable disco... needless to say, productivity went up as much as the volume did.
