we have a soft spot for retail with a clandestine edge. why? because there's usually a lot of inspiring creativity or out-of-the-box thinking behind the concept, interior or both. jack pam hails from down under and moved to amsterdam to push his multi-faceted career in photography, film, art, art curation and design. and as if that wasn't enough, pam decided to establish the superquirky tennis club bookshop along the way. located at the ot301 creative hub, the bookshop will open sat - dec 10 [2pm-8pm / drinks from 6pm] and stock a special selection of hard-to-find zines and books from across the planet, with an emphasis on photography.
the objective is to bring publications to town that are not included in the traditional distribution channels and combine these with well-known titles. there's currently quite a few titles available by various publishers, including hassla projects, pogo books, rainoff books, without sun and kaugummi books. the tennis club bookshop can be accessed on saturdays only [2pm-8pm + by appointment]. location: overtoom 301 [amsterdam west].
