certain boys are lucky never to grow up, and because of it the ones at amsterdam's gallery 33 cling on to their pre-pubescent obsession with dinosaurs to this very day. they've in fact innovatively banked on the matter by staging a new exhibition around the topic. a total of 24 international artists have been asked to revisit their childhood and create all new work based on these majestic creatures that once ruled the planet. wittily called feathers, the show opens fri - oct 25 [5.30pm-10pm] and presents a diverse range of dinosaur-inspired works with techniques ranging from watercolour to pure digital illustration, from dip pen and indian ink, to riso prints and everything in between. mind you, there are even some wooden dinosaur statuettes on display. the list of participating artists includes elliot alfredius, jon burgerman, lászló kovács, dennis de groot and you byun. location: pazzanistraat 33 [staatsliedenbuurt].
