anna lomax is a london-based multi-tasking creative who has quite successfully dipped her toe in various pools. from illustrations - her original craft - and art direction, to installations and set design, she has collaborated with some of the planet's leading brands in fashion, lifestyle and cosmetics. at the newly established frame store in amsterdam's canal district, the retail extension of interior design magazine frame, lomax will display exemplary pieces of here work. opening thu - jan 22 [5pm-7pm], the exhibition will be shown across the entire premises, and will also include a number of eclectic, large-scale sculptures that have been especially made for this occasion. positioned in the period room of the historic canalside mansion where frame store is situated, these works will feature various shapes and playfully reference the room's most important characteristics. these sculptures are made up of metal, rubber and neon light fixtures, mixed and matched with a motley mix of materials that have also been used in this specific interior. location: herengracht 178 [centrum].
